Toontown Corporate Clash
Toontown: Corporate Clash is a fan-made nonprofit MMORPG based off the now-defunct Toontown Online. Unlike other Toontown revival projects however, Corporate Clash is a complete overhaul of the original Toontown Online.
I started off as a texture artist back in mid-2019. Ever since then, my experience in game development, art, and design had exponentially increased. In the beginning of 2020, we had experienced a severe dev shortage which led to overwhelming stalls on future updates of the game. I wanted to do anything I could to help out with this, so I self-taught myself how to work with 3D models in Autodesk Maya and eventually comfortable enough to write my own scripts in Python.
As one of the three technical artists on the team, I involve myself with almost everything related to the creative, technical, and game design pipeline. While I’m not formally listed as a 3D modeler, game designer, graphic designer (etc.) for Clash, I have significant roles in those areas as well.
I’ve made a plethora of tools, scripts, and templates to accomodate development for different departments. I also occasionally create internal write-ups and guides for others to refer back to as well.
